About Me

My name is Alessandro Lupelli, I am a photographer and videomaker born and raised in Bari: today, it is the place from which I look at the world and where I build something.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was a child; the first photographs I ever took were right here, at my home. I grew up with this action: looking, framing, choosing. Initially, it was an instinctive gesture, a way to keep what struck me. Over time, it became the way I relate to people and places, and today it is my job.

For almost three years, I lived in Milan. It was an important experience that taught me rhythm, rigor, and attention to detail in my work. But far from home, I also discovered how much I missed all of this, so I decided to return. I looked at my land with new eyes, and that is where my work found the direction I continue to pursue daily.

Today, I work between Bari and the rest of Puglia with my communication agency, Lupelli Factory, where we focus on telling the stories of local businesses with authenticity and professionalism.
This space, however, is the most personal part of my work: here you will find my photographic prints, designed to bring a fragment of this land into your home. You will also find my digital guides, where I share what I have learned over all these years spent on the road.
